Transformers and Transformers II were both American sci-fi films. They talked about some kind of living mechanical organisms called Autobot and could transform into any thing, which live far away in another planet Cybertron but came to Earth to recover an important object called Allspark, a mystical talisman,which they had lost tens of years ago when one of their space ships had crash into Earth. The object's location map happened to be engraved on a pair of glasses, which has a great power to whoever possesses it.

Of course there were two kinds of Autobots in the films, one group were good guys and others were bad guys. The good guys were teamed up with an Earth high school nerd Sam Witwicky, the grandson of the glasses's owner, Captain Witwicky, when he bought an old sport car, later knew that it has a name, Bumblebee. From there on, in order not to let the bad Autobots to possess and control of the Allspark, he and the Autobots lead by Optimus Prime with another school girl, Mikaela Banes who Sam fancies a lot had gone through a very exciting adventure.

All in all the two films were so good, so exciting from the beginning to the end. It was most enjoyable watching them.

What’s it about? Two years have passed since Megan Fox(人名) leant over Bumblebee’s bonnet in ripped denim shorts. The Autobots（汽车人） are still on earth, working alongside the US military to protect the world from further Decepticon（霸天虎） attacks. One particularly evil Transformer – The Fallen – is masterminding a plan to destroy all the Autobots and, while he's at it, Earth. Meanwhile, Sam Witwicky（人名，男主角） is starting college and Megan Fox is still wearing ripped denim shorts, except this time she’s bent over a motorbike and has had something injected into her lips. It’s weird. But hot.

What’s good about it? Revenge of the Fallen is bigger and louder than its predecessor. There's a healthy dose of new characters. Visually, it rocks. The fight sequences are better choreographed and there’s more ‘expression’ in the up-close shots of the Transformers’ faces. Large parts of New York, Paris, Shanghai and the Egyptian desert all get blown to shit. In particular, a forest scene in which Optimus Prime （擎天柱）slugs it out with three Decepticons are awesome. As is the end sequence: the plot (and therefore the fate of the world) pivots on ‘magic dust’, the US army are shouting “Bring the rain!” and Megan Fox is scrambling around in white trousers while the sun sets on the pyramids, which are topped, tinsel-like, with giant shiny robots. It’s just so poetically retarded.

Paramount Pictures is ready to move forward on a fourth Transformers film and are already looking at unleashing the robot fury in 2014. Does this mean a deal has been finalized between the studio and Michael Bay? There's been no confirmation, but we know he's been in discussions with the studio. There's also no word on who would come back to star in the movie. After the third, both Bay and Shia Labeouf said they were walking away from it. We know that Bay is at least considering jumping back on board, but none of the other original actors have been named.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing another director take on the franchise with a full new cast. Bay did a solid job with Dark of the Moon, but I think it would be nice to see the film and these robot characters through the eyes of a fresh new director who would be passionate about making it, because it seems Bay isn't really all that passionate about this franchise anymore. At this point he's only doing it for the paycheck.

Here is what Bonaventura had to say:"Michael's going to direct it and it will be in the summer of 2014. He's a cool customer, he's excited and I think the challenge there is that we are really are going to do a reboot and what that's going to be we don't even know yet."

He also responded to the rumors about Jason Statham's involvement:"No, it's so silly. We've got to get a story first."He went on to say,"It's a hybrid. I'm not involved with Spider-Man, but what I perceive Spider-Man to be is a redoing of the whole thing. It's [Transformers] not. It's an evolution, there's still continuity that's going on and yet there will be a lot of new cast and whether there will be anyone from the old cast we don't even know yet. It's going to be a whole new story. The characters who will come along will be Optimus and Bumblebee I'm sure."
